Helsingin Maininki housing company comprises a city block and small townhouses. The elongated building mass folds thrice forming a serpentine-like shape. Three connected courtyards are formed between the building masses. Under the centermost and easternmost courtyards is located a car park for 61 vehicles. The 2 to 3-story townhouses are located closer to the seaside and the apartments are set in higher parts of the building.
