Luhtaparkki serves both as a parking facility and as a noise and particle matter barrier for the residential block towards Länsiväylä and Haukilahdentie. The building's metal facades feature three different types of folded panels in a varying rhythm. The facades facing the inner courtyard are solid, while the others are perforated. The metal color of the facades changes with lighting conditions and appears lively due to the varying perforation. In the future, climbing plants, which have been planted next to all facades and can grow up to the height of five floors on the south side, will add their own touch to the facades. In addition to the green roof, the roof is equipped with an extensive array of solar panels that generate electricity for charging electric cars.
