Ahvenisto Hospital is a future-oriented healthcare and next-generation hospital and service center being built next to the Ahvenisto Nature Park in Hämeenlinna. The goal is to create a high-quality healthcare hub in Kanta-Häme that meets the future needs of healthcare in a customer-centric manner. Ahvenisto Hospital, also known as 'Assi,' will have facilities for intensive care, emergency services, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, radiology, MRI, and patient wards.
Construction of Ahvenisto Hospital began in 2022, and it is scheduled to be operational in 2026.
